Recycling and Crafting

As many of you might know Sweden recycles 99% of its garbage. Basically, not much goes wasted, at the same time as it helps preserve our precious planet.

At Art Village Nursery we recycle all of our material and encourage parents to bring their waste to the nursery. We always try to make use of our waste by finding fun crafts and activities for our little ones to do as we teach them to care for the environment.  

Here are some of the crafts our children have done using material that would have normally ended up in the garbage bin. 

The children used toilet paper rolls making roses

..and a forest full of trees!

We used cups to make frogs =)
